Conference Themes
This year's conference is organized around three intertwined themes:
- Informating ourselves and building self-awareness for equity and diversity;
- Reforming classroom practice including pedagogy, environment, and curriculum; and
- Transforming our world through policy, accountability, and systematic change.

Keynote
Eddie Moore, Jr. (right), founder of the White Privilege Conference, will deliver our keynote, "Diversity, Privilege, Oppression and Leadership: Are We Making Any Progress in the 21st Century."He will also present a concurrent session later in the day.

Cost
MN-NAME is determined to provide affordable professional development opportunities for educators, students, activists, parents, and non-profits. All conference fees include a packet of free resources (such as copies of magazines), a continental breakfast, and lunch.

$40 for NAME members, low-income attendees, and full-time students
$50 for other non-NAME members
